Tại cuộc gặp với báo chí mới đây trước thềm khai mạc VIFA ASEAN 2023, ông Đặng Quốc Hùng – Giám đốc Công Ty CP Thủ Công Mỹ Nghệ Gỗ Liên Minh cho biết, 7 tháng đầu năm 2023 kim ngạch xuất khẩu gỗ và sản phẩm Việt Nam đạt 7,2 tỷ USD, giảm 26,2% so với cùng kỳ năm 2022.
VIFA ASEAN 2023 dự kiến thu hút hơn 350 nhà sản xuất và chế biến đồ gỗ, mỹ nghệ xuất khẩu trong và ngoài nước tham gia trưng bày trên quy mô 20.000m2 với 1.400 gian hàng.
Chiều 17-8, Liên đoàn Thương mại và Công nghiệp Việt Nam, chi nhánh TP.HCM (VCCI-HCM) cùng Hiệp hội Dừa Việt Nam và công ty cổ phần thủ công mỹ nghệ Gỗ Liên Minh tổ chức buổi tọa đàm công bố tổ chức Hội chợ Quốc tế đồ gỗ và mỹ nghệ xuất khẩu Việt Nam ASEAN lần 1 – VIFA ASIAN 2023.
