Ngày 23/5, Công ty cổ phần Thủ công Mỹ nghệ Gỗ Liên Minh phối hợp Liên đoàn Thương mại và Công nghiệp Việt Nam-Chi nhánh Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh (VCCI-HCM) và Hiệp hội Dừa Việt Nam công bố Hội chợ quốc tế đồ gỗ và mỹ nghệ xuất khẩu Việt Nam ASEAN 2023 (VIFA ASEAN 2023).
The first Vietnam ASEAN International Furniture & Home Accessories Fair to be held in HCM City from August 29 to September 1 will provide a platform for Southeast Asian furniture and home accessories producers to display their products and connect with buyers from all over the world.

VIFA ASEAN 2023 dự kiến thu hút hơn 350 nhà sản xuất và chế biến đồ gỗ, mỹ nghệ xuất khẩu trong và ngoài nước tham gia trưng bày trên quy mô 20.000m2 với 1.400 gian hàng.
“Đà suy giảm kim ngạch xuất khẩu gỗ trong tháng 4 đã chậm lại so với các tháng trước đó. Đây có thể xem là tín hiệu tích cực trong bức tranh chung của ngành còn nhiều khó khăn”, ông Trần Ngọc Liêm, Giám đốc Liên đoàn Thương mại và Công nghiệp Việt Nam chi nhánh tại TP.HCM (VCCI HCM) nhận định.
Thời điểm này dù đã sang quý II song doanh nghiệp gỗ vẫn chật vật tìm đơn hàng và doanh nghiệp nào có đơn hàng cũng chủ yếu là đơn hàng nhỏ.
